Delivery Information
Finch Home Interiors Ltd utilise 3rd Party companies to manage our delivery services.
Products may be despatched from multiple distribution centres and therefore orders with multiple items may not all arrive at the same time.
Our products may require different delivery services depending on the size or weight of your purchase and the area you live in. Our delivery methods include the following:
- One-person delivery – is used for the majority of our orders for items that are small to medium-sized.
- Premium Two-person delivery – this service is used for larger items or fragile orders that cannot be readily managed by our one person service.
Size and weight are the main considerations when determining the delivery service however, we also take into account the fragility or bulkiness of an item and its materials etc. On that basis, it is possible that an item is small in size but its fragility requires a specialist delivery. Examples of these are mirrors and clocks etc. with a high percentage of glass.
Information on whether a product is considered Small, Fragile or Large for the purposes of calculating delivery costs are contained in “Delivery Details” of each product on our website.
Small delivery items will generally be despatched via a courier service such as DPD or UPS and we will provide you with shipping confirmation and tracking details for your parcel if available from our carrier. Couriered items will normally be delivered between 3-5 working days from order.
Large items will be consolidated via our specialist carrier who will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery slot. Large item deliveries may take up to 7-10 days to be delivered.

We will always do our best to arrange delivery of in-stock items on a day of your choice and aim to deliver in stock items within 3 -10 working days of taking your order, subject to stock, courier area and availability.
Please note, while every effort is made to ensure that the estimated delivery date on your order confirmation is accurate, on rare occasions your delivery may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.
Our delivery services cover most of mainland UK but, we do not currently offer deliveries to international locations which includes the Channel Islands.
We are also currently unable to offer delivery of large items to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Highlands or non-mainland UK postcodes:
- BT (all postcodes), HS (all postcodes),
- IM (all postcodes), IV26-99, KA27, KA28, KW (all postcodes),
- PA15-78, PH19-50, ZE (all postcodes).
Small item deliveries to these postcodes may also attract a £10 surcharge imposed upon us by our carriers. Any surcharges will be calculated upon checkout of your shopping cart and may take longer than the standard delivery service.
Delivery services for large items will be carried to the room of choice, up to a maximum of two flights of stairs. If there are more than two flights of stairs, please contact us at sales@finchhomeinteriors.co.uk before ordering.
Before placing your order, please check that the furniture will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways. You can use our size details on the product page to double-check.
Certain products can only be delivered to the room of choice on the ground floor due to their size.
We appreciate that sometimes you may have to cancel or adjust your order. In such cases please change the delivery date or cancel / adjust orders as soon as reasonably possible before delivery to avoid an additional return fee. We cannot accept adjustments once an order has been shipped. Return fees will be charged in line with our Returns Policy.
Times quoted are quoted in good faith but shall be non-binding. We aim to deliver a high standard of service and will make every effort to deliver the goods as near to the specified date as possible, however delays are sometimes unavoidable due to unforeseen factors. Finch Home Interiors Ltd will not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods outside of our reasonable control.
Your delivery may arrive Monday to Friday anytime between 8.00AM & 8.00PM unless a specific time slot has been agreed with you. Please ensure you are available to receive your delivery as there will be a redelivery charge if delivery fails due to our customer not being available. Return fees will be charged in line with our Returns Policy.
On receipt of the goods please inspect them carefully for damage and advise the carrier's driver accordingly. If you are unable to fully inspect the goods for whatever reason, please sign the consignment note as "unexamined". Should you sign the consignment note as "received in good condition", you may be liable for any damages.
In the unlikely event you receive any damaged goods please advise us via e-mail to sales@finchhomeinteriors.co.uk within 24 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographic evidence of the damaged goods.
Delivery Costs
As standard, Finch Home Interiors Ltd offer free shipping on all “Small” item orders over £100 with the exception of any post code surcharges identified above.
Orders under £100 or Fragile / Large item delivery will incur the following delivery charges:
- £6.95 for Small item delivery to UK mainland postcodes.
- £12.95 for Fragile or Large item delivery up to 35Kg to UK mainland postcodes.
- £16.95 for Large item delivery from 35Kg to 100Kg to UK mainland postcodes
- £29.95 for large item delivery over 100Kg to UK mainland postcodes
